8 months agoGreat BBQ! Friendly service. They made me fresh tea, could have easily said they were out. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. They had the Cowboys game on. Hidden gem! They need to charge more for their bbq. Portions are large.

8 months agoFantastic find! Seriously good and juicy brisket is to live for! Happy, friendly and attentive family staff attend to all of your gastronomic needs. Yelp and google maps show the location to be in the middle of the freeway across from the Love's truck stop but it is actually about a mile north of the Love's on the west side service road (see map).

10 months agoI had a brisket sandwich with potato salad and they are both exceptional. The brisket was very moist and exploded with smoke flavor,. I believe that’s what this place apart although it’s a small Mom and Pop place, it explodes with flavor. There are several picnic tables outside under some beautiful oak trees for a nice barbecue picnic. Although the dining room was very comfortable.

11 months agoDon't let the exterior fool ya! Find a parking spot, walk in, and you will smell the delicious aroma of smoked meats. The dining area was very clean and open. The men's restroom was superbly clean. The server was very pleasant and attentive. Our first visit, and hopefully not our last! Great food and great service!

a year agoTruck driver passing by wanting some good ole TX BBQ and stumble across this place and it is worth it!! Purchased: Ribs which they are fall of the bone and big. Brisket, nice and moist full of flavor. Chicken, great taste and not dry & TX Twinkies. All the meats had a good smoky taste and bark none of them dry. 👌🏼 5 out 5 to me!

a year agoGreat food, excellent service, very friendly people. This is one of those hidden gems. Family owned & operated by very nice people. We had brisket, ribs, and sausage. All were delicious. Ample portions and very reasonable prices.

2 years agoWe stopped by on Mother's Day. The dining room just opened yesterday, and it was very cute and clean. The bbq and sides (although the sides were limited)were fantastic. The service was amazing. Currently only open Saturday and Sunday 11-7, but if you are in the area, we highly recommend.
